Lingnan to cohost postgraduate summer school with Hertford College, University of Oxford

In line with the strategic development goals of Lingnan University in further enhancing the learning experience of its postgraduate students, the Division of Graduate Studies will cohost with Hertford College, University of Oxford the International Postgraduate Summer School in June and July 2017.

 

With co-organisers including Peking University, Sun Yat-sen University, Zhejiang University, University of Nottingham, Ningbo and South China University of Technology, the International Postgraduate Summer School will be conducted at Lingnan University and Hertford College, University of Oxford in the UK.  Distinguished speakers including Prof Susan Robertson from the University of Cambridge, UK and Prof Roger Dale from the University of Bristol, UK have agreed to join the Lingnan University summer school to share their research experiences with critical reflections on research methodological issues with students.  Postgraduate students enrolled in the three week summer programme will have the great opportunity to share their research plans with their peers not only in Hong Kong but also in Oxford with DPhil students and Fellows from Hertford College.  They will also have cultural exposure in Hong Kong and Oxford.
