Postgraduate Studies Seminar: Conducting Survey Research

Prof Li Pang Kwong, Associate Professor of Department of Political Science and Director of Public Governance Programme of Lingnan University, shared his experience in conducting survey research on 28 April.
 
At the seminar which was well attended by Lingnan faculty members and students, Prof Li introduced ten steps of doing survey research with a special focus on sampling method. He also talked about his extensive experience in conducting telephone survey projects when he is the founding director of the Public Governance Programme and has completed over 200 commissioned survey projects. 
 
The seminar was part of the Postgraduate Studies Seminar Series which aims to provide more opportunity for postgraduate students to learn from scholars from various disciplines about methodology issues.
