Wofoo Leadership Network Series – Serving-Learning Stars of Lingnan

In 2009, Office of Service-Learning and Wofoo Social Enterprises jointly organized “Service-Learning Stars of Lingnan”, which aims to train up future servant leaders under the Service-Learning mode. The three major training focuses are Leadership training, Social Service and National Education.

In the two year, 40 university students and 20 secondary students have turned into the “Stars of Lingnan”, spreading their influences to the community and the country. In view of the success of the program, the teaching manual was published to share the experiences, hoping to advocate more cross-field cooperation on youth training and social development.

The Historical trip to Yunnan was one of the highlight in the program. Participants understood more about the history by visiting the relics, museums, Graveyards, as well as the veterans that had fought in the battle. Upon their return to Hong Kong, they would like to raise the public awareness toward this vital battle by publishing the special issues.
