Confirmed case of COVID-19 (只有英文版)

The University was informed today that a postgraduate student currently outside Hong Kong was confirmed with COVID-19 on 15 August 2020. The student left Hong Kong on 5 August 2020 for a Southeast Asian country.
 
The University has informed the Centre for Health Protection of the HKSAR Government, and, in accordance with its advice, immediately arranged COVID-19 tests for all Hall C residents living on the same floor as the student concerned.
 
A thorough disinfection of the public areas of Hall C and the office area of the student's affiliated department has been carried out today.
 
The University wishes the student a speedy recovery, and continues to monitor the situation and takes all necessary actions to contain any potential health risk to the University community.
