The instructor will show the students different training procedures in response to the individual needs and abilities of the students. Innovative Ways to Think about Career Future During the COVID-19 pandemic, most of us stayed at home and kept social distancing. You may need to re-think the way we live and how to encounter from many uncertainties and problems. Could we be able to keep our minds more positive and develop robust creativity during the bad days? How to twist the problems to be our opportunities? Two outstanding Lingnan alumni will tell you their stories and their faiths, creativity and problem-solving skills. Re-design Hostel Experience Innovation and entrepreneurial learning is one of the methods that teaches students to envision creative solutions to problems and enables them to overcome challenges, be decisive, take risks and accept responsibility for their outcomes. The design challenge this time is to allow students to look for creative solutions in dealing with certain challenges they faced in the hostel. The facilitating team will use an innovative approach in the workshop which empowers even the most traditional thinker to develop new, innovative solutions to the problem at hand.

奧比斯香港 – 亮麗眼睛守護者計劃 Orbis believes everyone deserves functioning eyesight regardless of their age, income or ethnic background. To increase awareness on eye health, Orbis is now recruiting Eye Brightening Advocates, to help assimilate eyecare awareness at every level of local society. Eye Brightening Advocates can participate in many volunteer experiences of Orbis and will add a sense of accomplishment to one’s positive energy! Eye Brightening Advocates may have the chance to help out with office clerical work, or using one’s creativity to influence others on the internet, or deliver eyecare talk to the community, etc. This Briefing and Training Session of the Orbis Hong Kong – Eye Brightening Advocate Programme is designed to facilitate interested parties in knowing more about the background of Orbis Hong Kong, as well as background and details of the Eye Brightening Advocates Programme. This session is especially suitable to students who have an initial interest in the Orbis Eye Brightening Advocate Programme and wish to have an glimpse of the Programme before joining.

Introduction to Lingnan Language Enhancement Initiative (L²EI) Lingnan Language Enhancement Initiative (L2EI) is launched to enhance students’ language competency while nurturing multi-lingual learning and cross-cultural appreciation among students. Under L2EI, the Centre for English and Additional Languages (CEAL) and the Chinese Language Education and Assessment Centre (CLEAC) will be organizing programmes to cater for the needs of students. In addition, a new funding scheme: Student-initiated Multi-Cultural and Multi-Lingual Enhancement Programmes Campus Fund (MMCF) is introduced by the Student Services Centre (SSC) to provide students with funding for organizing activities in contribution to language learning and cultural exchange. The programme will introduce you the deails of L²EI and MMCF. At the end of the Seminar, studnets will be able to:
