Prof. Whitten: Message to our students about summer courses
Dear students,
I hope that you are doing well and are getting ready for your final examinations. I would like to talk to you about the upcoming summer.
I am writing to draw your attention to the fact that registration has opened for the 2020 summer institute. Lingnan University students this summer can take up to 3 courses.
Notably, the Department of Economics is offering 3 courses all of which are requirements for the Major in Economics:
ECO3105 Introduction to Statistics and Econometrics (session 1)
ECO3201 Intermediate Microeconomics (session 1)
ECO3202 Intermediate Macroeconomics (session 2)
If you take one or more of these courses, you will have made great progress towards completing your economics major. You can take more elective courses in economics in the upcoming years so as to explore more fully what economics is. The more economics courses that you take, the more you know about the world and can adapt to different situations that a future job or academic degree will ask of you.
I will be teaching ECO 3202. The instructors for ECO 3201 and ECO 3105 are Prof. Alex Wong(Adjunct Associate Professor) and Prof. Matthieu Crozet (Associate Professor) respectively.
