On 20 May 2024, the BGS Lingnan University Chapter celebrated the induction of over a hundred of exceptional business undergraduates, master and PhD students into the Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) honor society, with the lifelong membership. This ceremony acknowledged their status as the elite in their field and integrating them into a global network dedicated to professional excellence and leadership.

Beta Gamma Sigma, established in 1913, represents the pinnacle of recognition for business students in AACSB-accredited programmes, and only schools accredited by the AACSB are invited to establish a BGS chapter. The chapter recognizes business students who excel academically, as well as individuals in the business world who have achieved distinction, and connecting them with a worldwide community of high achievers.

This ceremony honored the diligence and passion of outstanding students in the presence of their families, friends, the Dean and Associate Deans of the Faculty of Business, Department Heads, faculty and guests, sharing the students' achievements, honors, and joy. "I would like to ask you to accept Honor, Wisdom, and Earnestness as principles to guide your conduct every day of your life." stated the Chapter Advisor Professor Patrick Shing-Chung POON. The BGS Lingnan University Chapter takes pride in its new members, confident in their future contributions to the business world.
