Exploring "Medical Social Collaboration: Ageing in Place, Caring with Grace"

 

Professor Mok, the Vice President of Lingnan University, was invited by the Tuen Mun Hospital Authority to join the NTWC Community Health Care Symposium on 2nd November. Professor Mok shared the topic of “Smart Aging in Place: Supporting Patients with Innovative Gerontechnology” and elaborated how technologies support the practice of ageing in place and enhance life quality of the elderly and carer. Moreover, Professor Mok also highlighted the importance of collaborations between hospital and community and introductions of humanitarian technology to achieve Sustainable Development Goals #3- “Good Health and Well Being”, and ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
