Collaboration with The University of Nottingham Ningbo China to enhance postgraduate studies programmes

At the 2016 Ningbo-Hong Kong Education Forum held on 3 November in Ningbo, Mainland China, Prof Joshua Mok Ka-ho, Vice President of Lingnan University signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Prof Lin Yueh-Jaw, Associate Provost, Global Engagement of The University of Nottingham Ningbo China to deepen the collaboration between the two universities, especially in promoting PhD student exchange and collaboration in co-teaching and co-developing a Master of Arts in International Higher Education and Management programme.

 

During his visit to Ningbo, Prof Mok visited the campus of The University of Nottingham Ningbo China and met with Prof Lin and Prof Stephan Morgan, Associate Provost, Planning of the University. Prof Mok was also invited by Dr John Lowe from the University’s Department of Education to give a public lecture entitled “The Quest for World-Class Status: Implications for Sustainable Development for Asian Universities” which was well received by audience. More student exchanges like internships will be further explored and developed under the framework of the MOU signed between the two universities.
