Faculty of Business organises activities to connect taught postgraduate students

Taught Postgraduate Programmes Office (TPgPO) of the Faculty of Business organised two events in September to connect its taught postgraduate students.

On 7 September, the Alumni Sharing Session was held with the objective of enhancing students’ understanding of the real business world, and develop their awareness on the importance of career preparation.  Five alumni from different industries were invited to share their valuable experience on different topics including the real business world, tips on interview skills, job hunting experience, and how to prepare for the future workplace.  Students were grateful for the alumni sharing which provided them with many insights.  It was also a great opportunity for alumni and students to strengthen their network and relationship with each other.

On 28 September, a BBQ Party was organised to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.  The party served as an opportunity for all taught postgraduate students and staff to gather and mingle with each other.  A game “DIY Lantern” was arranged and participants had great fun in making their own lanterns as a traditional cultural activity for Mid-Autumn Festival.  Joined by more than 170 students and staff members, the party was a huge success with participants enjoyed a festive celebration.
