Lingnan University will launch a Distinguished Leaders Dialogue Series starting from early 2018.  It is one of the major events in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the University’s re-establishment in Hong Kong.

Distinguished leaders from different sectors will be invited to share their insights in the dialogues on topics of public concern including education, financial development, housing for the youth, and creative arts and culture.

The first dialogue, with education as the theme, will be held on 16 January 2018 on Lingnan campus.  The Honourable Bernard Charnwut Chan, Convenor of the Non-official Members of the Executive Council, and Mr Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, Secretary for Education of the HKSAR Government, will be invited as panelists and Ms Lee Suet-ying, Chairperson of the Hong Kong Association of the Heads of Secondary Schools, will be the dialogue’s facilitator.  The dialogue will touch on our examination and assessment systems, issues arising from curriculum development and adjustment, ways to boost the resilience of students, career options for young people, and much more.
