Lingnan student volunteers help promote concept of happy family

On 24 February, the Think-Act-Contribute (TAC) Health Leaders under the Jockey Club “We Care, We Serve & We Learn @ Tuen Mun” Programme joined the Family Day organised by Evangelical Lutheran Church Social Service - Hong Kong at the Olympic Square of Hong Kong Park.  During the event, six Lingnan students and 38 elderly served as TAC Health Leaders to promote the concept of happy family and healthy living.

 

Popular artist Mr Sunny Chan and his wife Ms Ada To were invited as guests to share their parenting tips and ways to get along with children.  The organiser also invited Lingnan students and other TAC Health Leaders to perform Heha Dance, and promoted the importance of physical and mental health through the interactive process.

 

Lingnan students and the TAC Health Leaders also acted as volunteers to set up different family arts and education booths, so that participants can appreciate message of harmonious family and have an enjoyable family day.
