Documentary screening of Project Wild Thing showcases the beauty of nature

Organised by the Core Curriculum and General Education Office of the University and the CNEX, the Food and Nature Film Series presented a screening of the documentary Project Wild Thing on 21 March, assembling an audience of over 60 Lingnan students and staff.

Project Wild Thing is a gripping story of the desperate struggle to lead the computer-crazed children back to nature. Prof Jonathan FONG, Assistant Professor of Science Unit moderated the after-screening discussion with Dr Xoni MA, Founder & Education Director, Outdoor Wildlife Learning Hong Kong and Mr Dennis WOO, Director of D Workshop LS. Both speakers shared their sound hiking experiences in Hong Kong and how they promoted the awareness of nature in Hong Kong. Students were eager to raise questions about local hiking routes and other environmental issues at the Q&A session.
