Over 40 delegates attend GLAA Conference hosted by LU to discuss humanitarian innovation and entrepreneurship

The annual conference of the Global Liberal Arts Alliance (GLAA) was hosted by Lingnan University from 16 to 17 December at The Cityview Hotel in Hong Kong. Some 40 principals and scholars from GLAA member institutions gathered to discuss Humanitarian Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Sustainable Development Goals Impact through Service-Learning. Graduation badges were also presented to the University Innovation Fellows on the occasion.

 

A graduation ceremony of University Innovation Fellows programme was conducted at the conference. Initiated by Stanford University in the US, the programme delivered at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design aims to empower student leaders to drive changes in higher education. Thanks to the Lingnan Entrepreneurship Initiative, students Fung Kwan-ting and Ho Tsang were able to complete the programme at Standford University.
