Lingnan University organises Information Day to introduce its programmes and admission information.

Lingnan University organised the Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions 2018 today (27 October) to provide an opportunity for secondary school students, teachers, parents and the general public to obtain latest information about the University and its programmes and admission arrangements, and experience the teaching and learning environment as well as campus life of the university.

A number of programme introduction talks and academic talks were held at the Information Day. The University also invited graduates to share their study experiences and career development. The University’s three faculties, namely Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Business and Faculty of Social Sciences set up exhibitions and booths to introduce their programmes’ design, content and unique features in teaching and learning. Information related to admission arrangements, and the newly launched Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Global Liberal Arts and LEO Dr David P. Chan Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Data Science programmes, was provided to participants, and questions related to admission were addressed on the spot.

BA (Hons) in Global Liberal Arts Programme prepares students to be global leaders and imbues them with international perspectives and overseas learning experience. Students will be offered multi-campus and multi-country learning experience in at least two prestigious overseas universities, including London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), King’s College London and University of Toronto.

LEO Dr David P. Chan Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Data Science Programme fosters students’ ability in applying artificial intelligence, big data analytics, statistics and mathematics, etc to cope with problems that arise in the fields of e-commerce, finance and economics, healthcare and education.

Meanwhile, other academic units and student organisations staged a series of exciting activities including book fair, campus and hostel tours, and arts and science workshops to showcase the essential parts of Lingnan’s liberal arts education including multi-cultural learning environment, vibrant hostel life and rich learning opportunities.
