Department of Cultural Studies launches Centre for Cultural Research and Development

To promote research in interdisciplinary cultural studies and motivate collaboration with the cultural sector, the Department of Cultural Studies has established the Centre for Cultural Research and Development (CCRD) to facilitate joint research and practice-based, interdisciplinary programmes.

Building on the momentum of research and outreach projects of the Kwan Fong Cultural Research and Development Programme, CCRD is running four research programmes - Cultures of Mobility and Migration, Cultures of Sustainability, Cultures of Sound and Music, and Virality and Digital Futures – to endorse the foundation of the centre.
