Lingnan Wisdom: Paxton Leung Sze-lam

Paxton Leung Sze-lam from LU Faculty of Social Sciences was awarded the Undergraduate Scholarship for Students with Special Education Needs 2019/20 by The Hong Kong Jockey Club. He is thankful for the University's support including counselling and other learning aids.

The year 3 student with mild hearing loss is now majoring in Social and Public Policy Studies. An atlas enthusiast since childhood, Paxton had set his mind on a career in urban planning. “I hope to improve the liveability of Hong Kong with better public spaces which can help relieve population density.” He received LU's subsidy and will go to Lüneburg of Germany for a semester-long exchange this September.
