Lingnan University ranks third in the world consecutively for 'Quality Education' in THE Impact Rankings 2022

LU is ranked third in the world for “Quality Education” for the second consecutive year at the latest Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2022.

 

“This achievement reflects well our commitment to being a leading Asian liberal arts university with international recognition, distinguished by outstanding teaching, learning, scholarship and community engagement,” says Prof Leonard K Cheng, President of LU. “Besides providing Quality Education to students at various levels of study, Lingnan is also committed to providing an excellent research environment for its faculty and students to conduct research and engage in knowledge transfer that aim to address major societal challenges in Hong Kong, our country and beyond, thereby contributing to other Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations.”

 

Prof Cheng thanked all Lingnanians for their support and contributions, and for helping the University to become a Global Leader in Quality Education and High Impact Research in the years to come.

 

THE Impact Rankings assesses the social impact of universities in the world based on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. This year, 1,180 institutions from 106 countries and regions had participated in the “Quality Education” (SDG 4) category.
