Criteria
Research postgraduate students from universities in the Mainland, whose research should relate to translation studies, interpreting studies, or intercultural studies. They should obtain a consent letter from their supervisor.
Duration
One to six months starting from January to June each year (e.g. starting from January 2020).
What to expect
The visiting student is expected to adhere to research ethics in his/her research field. The Department will provide him/her opportunities to engage in academic exchanges with academic staff and research postgraduate students in the Department of Translation. With the permission of the course lecturers concerned, the visiting student will have the chance to audit courses. Likewise, opportunities to attend or present his/her own research in departmental seminars or seminars on campus will be given. The Department will offer a variety of research facilities and provide assistance, as appropriate.
