Gubat 2.0 Project: Innovating Agricultural Education
The goal of the Gubut 2.0 Project is to transform high school education by raising awareness about innovative farming techniques that are based on technology rather than traditional methods. The project aims to improve the effectiveness of current hydroponic systems. The main objectives are a Design Thinking Innovation Workshop, a thorough workshop bundle for teachers, and a proposal to enhance the Gubat 2.0 system. This project not only teaches students about modern farming methods, but also provides educators with the necessary resources to promote creative thinking in the classroom, ultimately leading to a more sustainable future in agriculture.
She Rise Project: Empowering Women in the Philippines
The She Rises project helps empower Filipino women living in temporary shelters by providing them with two transformative workshops. The workshop and focus group discussions called 'My Dream Home' facilitated women in sharing their goals and visions for their perfect homes. The goal of the Entrepreneurship Workshop is to equip a new group of women with the skills and knowledge they need to achieve their entrepreneurial aspirations. Both activities promote teamwork and collaboration within the community while also aiding in the personal and professional development of individuals.
