To assist in the daily operation of office and perform admin duties

To assist officers in planning and organizing various activities related to sustainable development, community living room and entrepreneurship.

To prepare the materials for various projects such as the sustainable development, STEAM and AI projects.  

 

Remarks:  

Students with good performance may be recruited as part-time staff after the internship to sustain their project.

To provide logistics support in organizing and facilitating the Lingnan-Yuanpei STEM Summer Academy*

(It is important to note that the student intern will need to stay in the student hostel from 22nd to 28th June 2024 for work. The accommodation fee will be covered by the OSA.)

To assist in various preparation tasks to ensure the smooth execution of the New Student Orientation 2024.

To perform counter services and general office support.

 

Remarks:

OSA has certain expectations from the student intern:

Proficiency in both Mandarin and English languages to effectively communicate with participants.

Displaying a responsible attitude, along with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Willing to learn and serve.

 

Institute of Policy Studies (Jockey Club Gerontechnology and Smart Ageing in Place Project)

Job Duties:

To support community education work of Gerontechnology and Smart Ageing to the public
To support the Gerontechnology X Lab guided tour
To support the ambassadors training to prepare for the GIES event.

Hong Kong Community Network - Link Centre

The Home Affairs Department commissioned Hong Kong Community Network to establish the LINK Centre in Kwai Tsing to overcome difficulties arising from adapting to life in Hong Kong. The centre facilitates and accelerates the process of integrating EMs into the community, enable them to access to public services without being discriminated and, enhance young EMs to unfold their potentials and enrich their psychological well-being.

People Services Centre is founded in 2002 with the aim of providing services to the needy, such as elderly citizens, unemployed people, low-income families and disadvantaged groups. Through service programs, we create social capital and social networks, strengthen community cohesion, and advocate for better policies.

Job Duties: PSC will offer internship opportunities in the following two centers.

A.      Community Service (Wong Tai Sin District)

To plan and organize summer activity for child carer living in Wong Tai Sin;

To assist in recycle and waste charging scheme promotion activity in Lok Fu

To assist programmes to raise service users’ awareness on child career policies;

B.      Community Service (To Kwa Wan District)

To plan and organize summer activity for children and families living in sub-divided units;

To assist in recycle and waste charging scheme promotion activity in public housing and sub-divided unit area;

To assist programmes to raise service users’ awareness on child career policies;

 

Remarks:

Plan and execute project activities, assist in daily center/project operation;

The total workload of a student will be 1 initiated activities, 1 assigned mini project and

routine operation work;

Students are required to report to our staff weekly;
