On March 21, led by Prof. Wu Xinchun, a delegation comprising five esteemed faculty members from BNU Zhuhai visited the Department of Psychology. During their visit, both institutions engaged in fruitful meetings, exploring potential avenues for collaboration, specifically focusing on student exchange programmes and course development in behavioural data science. The meeting provided an excellent platform for exchanging ideas, expertise, and best practices, aiming to enhance academic opportunities for our students and promote cross-institutional collaboration. LU-BNU Agreement Renewal - Double Master's Degree Programme More

We are delighted to announce the renewal of the agreement between Lingnan University and Beijing Normal University (BNU) for the Double Master's Degree Programme. Extended for another five years, this agreement enhances collaborative effort between Lingnan and BNU, fostering professional training in psychology.

Under the terms of the agreement, students enrolled at Beijing Normal University (BNU) will commence their studies at BNU, where they will complete three semesters to fulfill credit requirements. In the fourth semester, they will study 6 courses at Lingnan University. Upon satisfactory completion of their studies at Lingnan, students will return to BNU to finish their dissertation before graduated with dual degree.

MWOP & MAP students may tell what they have experienced in spending about 2 hours in complete darkness, without a single glimmer. Leadership, self-awareness, ways of communicating, acceptance of weakness, etc. are what students learned and took away from the trainers at the Dark Workshop conducted by the Dialogue In The Dark (HK) Foundation on March 20, 2023. MWOP Spring Luncheon 2023More

MWOP Spring Luncheon 2023 was held successfully in Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel on 4 March. Over 75 current students and alumni (including 6 professors) joined this gathering and they share their memories and learning experiences with each other. Moreover, some current students from Sept 2022 intake were awarded Certificate of Scholarship and Merit, so as to encourage them to keep up the good work in the following semester.

Dialogue In The Dark Workshop was conducted on 19 December 2022. It provides an opportunity for 20 students to develop their self-awareness and leadership from the perspective of visually impaired people. The trainers engaged them in different challenges in complete darkness. Students reflected on stories of visually impaired people shared by the instructors, understanding the significance of inclusive society.

Mindful Painting Workshop was organised on 25 November 2022. Mr. Steve Lui, Pastel Nagomi Art Advanced Instructor who was invited to teach MWOP & MAP students how to relieve stress by Pastel Painting. About 30 students joined and they enjoyed peace of mind during pastel painting.
