Prof. Paulina PY WONG is currently an Associate Professor and Head of the Science Unit at Lingnan University and Associate Director of the LEO Dr David P. Chan Institute of Data Science. She is also the Programme Director of the Master of Science in Sustainability and Environmental Analytics (MScSEA) and Executive Professional Education Programme (EPE). She specializes in urban climate, air/noise pollution, GIS, and environmental health. In recent years, her research has been extended to GeoAI analytics, urban sensing, mobile geospatial technologies, sustainability education and ESG analytics. She is recently being elected as the young member of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences (HKAES).

 

Wong has been a Fulbright and Lee Hysan scholar. She is a certified GIS Professional (GISP) and ESG Planner (CEP®). She serves on a number of professional associations such as the Council member and Vice-chairman of the Spatial Data Infrastructure Committee of Smart City Consortium (SCC), Honorary Secretary of Hong Kong Geographic Information System Association (HKGISA), Committee member and advisor of HKABAEIMA, Consultant (Research) of the International Chamber of Sustainable Development (ICSD) to foster GIS, OpenBIM, ESG and Smart City development. She is also the editorial board member, review editor and guest editors of several quality international journals.
