Prof. Ho teaches and researches in art and museum studies at the Department of Digital Arts and Creative Industries, Lingnan University. She graduated from the School of Museum Studies at University of Leicester (UK), and completed her Ph.D. on an International Research Scholarship at the Asia Institute of the University of Melbourne in Australia. Her articles have been published in edited books and journals with Museum Management and Curatorship, The International Journal of the Inclusive Museum, Asian Studies Review, University Museums and Collections Journal, Third Text and Routledge. Her monograph, Museum Processes in China: the institutional regulation, production, and consumption of art museums in the Greater Pearl River Delta Region, was published by Amsterdam University Press in 2020.


Prof. Ho completed her professional training at the Burrell Collection of the Glasgow Museum, UK. Prior to entering academia, she had held curatorial and managerial positions at various cultural institutions and museums in Hong Kong. Her curated exhibitions include ‘Sensing Things’, ‘Dialogues: Post-1997 Art Documentation Exhibition’, ‘Reverse Reality - the United States and Hong Kong young artists exchange project’, ‘Re-orientation” exhibition for Heritage×Art×Design’, ‘Degeneration Art Exhibition’, and ‘The Future of School Architecture’, etc.
