Hong Kong’s first Doctor of Policy Studies programme aims to reflect on up-to-date research and current practices in the field with an international perspective (Apply Now)

Doctor of Policy Studies programme has flexible delivery modes and strong experiential learning elements including overseas field visits and academic workshops and seminars so as to ensure students understand the current mindsets and practices regarding policy studies in other countries and can conduct their research from an international perspective.   

 

Taught Postgraduate Students Graduation Dinner 2017-2018

The Division of Graduate Studies organized the Taught Postgraduate Students Graduation Dinner 2017-2018 on 16 May 2018 at Cordis Hotel.  The dinner was well-attended by 280 Taught Postgraduate students and faculty members.  After making his speech, President Professor Leonard Cheng and Vice President Professor Joshua Mok led the toasting ceremony with faculty members and students and wished students all the very best with a bright future.

Highlights

The first "Joint Humanitarian Entrepreneurship Programme" held by Lingnan University and Beijing Normal University fully presented attributes of liberal arts education

In June 2018, Lingnan University (LU) joined hands with Beijing Normal University (BNU) to organise the first “Joint Humanitarian Entrepreneurship Programme” that took place in Beijing and Chengdu. This 4-week programme, supported by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), attracted 22 students from 11 territories, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ghana, US, UK, Israel, etc.
