Professor Joshua Mok gives keynote speech at Higher Education in Taiwan Symposium

 

Professor Joshua Mok, Vice President and Lam Man Tsan Chair Professor of Comparative Policy, Lingnan University, Hong Kong was invited to give a keynote speech at the Higher Education in Taiwan Symposium organized by Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council of Taiwan on 3 May 2019. His speech discussed how minban higher education and transnational higher education developed in China in the last 2 decades, critically reflecting upon policy change and issues for governance. Other speakers came from University of Bristol, UK and University of Malaya of Malaysia, as well as scholars and researchers from Taiwan.

 

On 2 May 2019, Professor was invited to give a lecture to postgraduate students of College of Education, National Chengchi University, one of the members of Alliance of Asian Liberal Arts Universities launched by Lingnan University. The College will develop deep collaborations with School Graduate Studies of Lingnan University.
