Targeting Appropriate Research Methods for the Task at Hand: Examples from Higher Education Policy Research

Synopsis

Research methods in social science range from aggregate data analysis, to survey and interview data of various sorts, to a complex range of “qualitative” methods. This seminar looks at this range of “tools” from the perspective of choosing those appropriate to a given task at hand, all within the framework of Higher Education Policy Analysis.
