Graduation Requirements

• Complete 8 courses (4 core courses and 4 elective courses) and obtain a minimum of 24 credits
• Achieve a minimum CGPA of 2.67
• Obtain an average of GPA 2.33 for the two English courses namely English for Academic Purposes and Advanced Business Communication
• A student who fulfils all the requirements for graduation shall be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Social Sciences with one of the following classifications:

Entrance Requirements

To be eligible for entry into the Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Social Sciences Programme, candidates should:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised tertiary institution or equivalent*; and
• Meet the English language proficiency requirement by attaining a minimum score of 5.5 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or a minimum score of 453 (paper-based test) or 46 (internet-based test) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or equivalent.

*Equivalent qualifications and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
