大學教育資助委員會（教資會）高度讚揚嶺南大學在拓展知識轉移活動方面的出色表現。嶺南大學在知識轉移方面的努力使其正在進行中的社會項目和合約研究的累計收入分別增長了209%和54%，其有顧問參與的專業項目的累計收入也較之前增長了83%。根據嶺南大學知識轉移活動的年度審核報告，嶺南大學將研究事務處更名為研究及知識轉移處（ORKT），教資會對嶺南大學在機構層面對知識轉移的重視和其地位的提升亦表示高度讚揚。
