Ongoing Initiatives

University Wellness Ambassador Programme

Now in its 4th year, our large-scale Wellness Ambassador Programme focuses on the wellbeing of university students. Since its inception in 2020-2021, the programme has made significant achievements and undergone continuous development. Click here to learn more about its impact and evolution.

Youth Development

In partnership with HKFYG, we’re evaluating the effectiveness of a Positive Youth Development artistic training programme focused on the 5Cs (Competence, Confidence, Connection, Character, and Caring).

Highlights of Our Activities

Children and Adolescents

We have partnered with primary schools to study the psychological and academic impacts of social support systems on children. In collaboration with ASTRI and HKAGE, we’ve evaluated the affective states of online and on-site learners among talented students. Our work also includes organizing training and workshops with EEG lab experience sessions to assess and enhance student wellbeing, affection, and cognition.

Educator Support

We’ve conducted multiple workshops and seminars for educators, including

  • Train-the-Trainer programmes for primary school teachers on basic counselling skills and self-efficacy

  •  Courses on enhancing classroom management and promoting mental health in schools

  •  Professional development sessions combining psychological and educational theories with practical strategies

Our educator-focused initiatives aim to enhance teachers’ competence in addressing students’ emotional needs and managing their own work-related stress.
