Biography

Gary is a "fresh" PhD graduate who obtained his degree from the University of Hong Kong. He worked as a part-time lecturer at Lingnan University since August 2022, and officially joined the department as Research Assistant Professor in October 2023. His research interests intersect the fields of symbolic interactionism, new media and the sociology of emotions—simply put, the study of online interaction, and online participation.
