President Professor Qin Visits Tongji University on 30 Novermber 2023

During their visit to Tongji University, President Professor Qin and his delegation were warmly received by President Professor Zheng Qinghua and a team of colleagues.  They were briefed on the latest development of Tongji University in cross-discipline research in digital economy, development of academic programmes and the contributions to the country through big data analysis. President Professor Qin shared with them the vision of turning Lingnan University into a research-led liberal arts university and equipping students with both arts and sciences knowledge. He also talked about the School of Interdisciplinary Studies, the upcoming School of Data Science and the Advanced Institute for Research with Professor Samuel Ting as its Honorary Dean.

The two universities agreed to work together on student exchange, and to actively explore faculty exchange as well as research collaboration and the launch of joint Master and PhD programmes in the disciplines of business administration, cultural studies, translation, English, philosophy, psychology and other professional fields.
