HKSTP Tech FYP Sponsorship Programme

Calling all final year students or fresh graduates with Final Year Projects (FYPs)/Capstone Projects!

The Tech FYP Sponsorship Programme by HKSTP is a unique programme that offers all-round support for university students to explore and kickstart their startup career by translating their Science, Engineering or ICT related final year or capstone projects into viable business. 

The programme offers up to HKD100,000 seed funding, along with training, coaching/mentoring, access to co-working space, etc. Under the HKSTP Ideation Programme, it also comes with the opportunity to be bridged to the 3-year HKSTP Incubation Programme with an additional financial grant of HKD1.29mil. 

Eligibility

• HKID holder aged 18 and above; or
• A limited company incorporated in Hong Kong for less than 2 years by the application start date; or
• A team that is committed to incorporating a limited company in Hong Kong before the programme starts. 

Projects must have market and commercialisation potential to become a startup venture, and demonstrate relevance to:

• Science;
• Engineering; or
• Information and Communications Technology.
