Applicants with disabilities are assessed in accordance with the same admission criteria as those for other applicants. It is the intention of the University to provide aid and support to students with disabilities as far as possible. Applicants are therefore invited to contact the School of Graduate Studies for information concerning existing facilities for disabled persons at the University. If they think necessary, they may write to the School of Graduate Studies at the time of submitting their applications indicating the nature and extent of their disabilities. It is useful for the University to know in advance the nature and the degree of any disabilities so that the University can discuss with the applicants any special provisions or facilities that may be required. It should nevertheless be noted that although the University will try to give as much help as possible, there may be problems which cannot be overcome.
