The programme structure of OPEM is shown in the table below. Students are required to satisfactorily complete 9 courses with a total of 30 credits (including five compulsory courses in the Psychology cluster, three elective courses in the Education Management cluster, and, one Capstone Project) *.

C. Capstone Project (Elective – 6 credits)

* The offering of elective courses is subject to sufficient demand and faculty availability. The Programme reserves the rights to offer the elective courses chosen by student.

Summer/ Winter Term will be an intensive block of overseas Experiential Learning trip (optional).

Progression Requirement

  • Achieve a CGPA of 2.50 or above in order to proceed to the next term

Intermediate Award

Students will be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Psychology and Education Management if they complete no less than five courses with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.33. Acceptance of an intermediate award implies an intention not to complete the final award.

Graduation Requirements

A student who has fulfilled all the requirements for graduation will be awarded Award of Master of Social Sciences in Organisational Psychology and Education Management (OPEM) with one of the following classifications.

These classifications are given according to the student's Cumulative G.P.A. on all courses.
