Stefan obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Social Policy and Social Work, University of York, United Kingdom. He joined Lingnan University in August 2016. His research interests centre on comparative social policy, poverty and well-being, and research methods. Stefan is the Editor of the Journal of International and Comparative Social Policy (Cambridge University Press) and the Research in Comparative and Global Social Policy book series (Bristol University Press). Stefan is the Director of the Department’s MSocSc Programme in Comparative Social Policy (International)
