Michael is a British EFL teacher who has been working in Asia for over 10 years. After graduating, he worked in London both as a researcher, and in IT. During this time he also gained 2 Masters degrees from the University of London and the University of Newcastle in Gender, Society & Culture and Computer Science respectively. He enjoys getting to know students from all over the world and has taught in South Korea and Thailand. In his spare time he enjoys a variety of hobbies including cooking, painting, photography, sailing and travel. He is a fully qualified Yachtmaster and also an advanced deep sea and Nitrox diver. At Lingnan, Michael is a full-time lecturer as well as a coordinator for Additional Languages. |
