Message From Programme Director

Today’s world is full of challenges and opportunities. Social inequality, climate change, business transformations, heritage preservation, technological breakthroughs, rapid urbanization—all present us with new problems and new prospects. Companies must meet increasing demands for environmental and social responsibility, while local and international governing bodies contend with the competing pressures of economic expansion and community well-being.

To face our common challenges and maximize our opportunities, we need innovators who can create new visions for the human future. We need leaders who can intelligently integrate different knowledge fields to craft comprehensive solutions. We need people who can collaboratively partner with different peoples and cultures.

Our Bachelor of Liberal Arts (B.L.A.) in Global Development and Sustainability (GDS) gives you an interdisciplinary and multi-campus experience so that you can become a forward-thinking and broad-minded professional. Whether your primary interest is in business or in culture, in the natural environment or in social policy, you will develop your skills and knowledge within the framework of ‘sustainable development’ and with a global consciousness. By learning to synthesize different academic disciplines while studying on different continents, you will chart your own unique career path in the sector of your choice, whether public or private, corporate or non-profit, cultural or environmental.

Join us for a journey of exploration! Become the social innovator, glocal visionary and impactful leader that you can be!
