Bachelor of Liberal Arts (Honours) in Global Development and Sustainability

Comprehensive proficiencies befitting a vast range of careers

The GDS Programme will endow students with excellent intellectual, communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, all of which are coveted among companies nowadays.

The exposure to people from an array of backgrounds and perspectives in the programme will equip students with an understanding, sensitivity and respect for different cultures, histories and societies necessary for effective cross-cultural communications.

Collaborative projects would help students address global challenges with reason, innovation and civility, which could pave their careers as entrepreneurs, business leaders, as well as policy makers in the government and international organisations like the United Nations and in non-profits and non-governmental organisations. A wide range of enrichment activities is also available to enhance students’ professional insights and personal growth, including career workshops, study tours, service-learning programmes and internships in local, mainland and overseas companies.
