Professor Simon Li spoke at West Cluster Patient Safety Awareness Week

 

Professor Simon Li, Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Psychology, was invited by the Hong Kong West Cluster hospitals to participate in a debate session in The Third Hong Kong West Cluster Patient Safety Awareness Week 2019. The theme of the event was "Using Medication Safely: Lessons from Stories" and it was held at Queen Mary Hospital on 29 May 2019.

 

In the debate, Professor Li introduced the discipline of human factors and argued for its central role in patient safety. The debate session was attended by an audience of 50+ clinicians and was broadcast to all the West Cluster hospitals.
