Upgrade of IP Phone Handsets
The original IP phone handsets on campus have been used for more than 13 years and become outdated and out of support. Starting from the summer 2020, all of them would be gradually replaced with corresponding latest models in phases.
The new models would provide higher security, easy-to use interface, high-quality wideband audio, and higher LAN connection speed for PCs. The new models would also be compatible with the latest release of backend system to provide new functions and features.

The replacement exercise has started in the summer of 2020 and will continue until all of the 900+ sets are replaced.
