Outstanding Lingnan students obtain HSBC Scholarships

Three undergraduate students of Lingnan and two higher diploma students of Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE) were awarded HSBC Scholarships 2016/17 in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements, involvement in community service and extra-curricular activities.  The Scholarships are donated by the Hongkong Bank Foundation and will provide support to students to unleash their potential and contribute to the sustainable growth of Hong Kong.  The scholarship recipients are:-


 

HSBC Hong Kong Scholarships

- Au Suet-sze (Accounting Year 4)

- Lee Lok-sang (Sociology Year 2)

- Ng Shu-ting (Accounting Year 2)

 

HSBC Vocational Education Scholarships

- Aurang-zeb Mohammad Saqib Rangzeb (Higher Diploma in Sports Coaching and Leadership Year 1)

- Ngai Ka-yu (Higher Diploma in Fitness Training and Management Year 1)

 

The HSBC Scholars Day was held on 29 June in the presence of Lingnan representatives including Prof Joshua Mok Ka-ho, Vice-President, Dr Raymond Ng Chi-wing, Director of Lingnan Institute of Further Education, Ms Jenny Ko Lai-fong, Director of Student Services and the five scholarship recipients of this year.  With the support of the Scholarships, the students are encouraged to strive for excellence and make contribution to the betterment of the society.
