HKIBS’ Postdoctoral Fellow obtains outstanding results in innovation and entrepreneurship competition

Dr Guo Yanlong, Postdoctoral Fellow of Lingnan University’s Hong Kong Institute of Business Studies (HKIBS), has emerged as a standout participant in the largest nationwide postdoctoral competition, the 2nd China Postdoctoral Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition (overseas/outland). His project, “Enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Solution for Digital Transformation based on a Private Blockchain Network”, was shortlisted in the new generation information technology category. Dr Guo won against 35 teams internationally and entered the National Finals, where he came 31st of 45 finalists.

 

The 2nd China Postdoctoral Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition is a national competition sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee. The theme of this year was "Empowering Development with Wisdom, Leading the Future with Innovation", divided into four events, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Overseas (Outland), and Problem-solving. Each event has seven categories: new generation information technology, high-end equipment production, new energy and material, biomedicine and healthcare, modern agriculture and food, maritime study and application, and other industries. There were 25,000 domestic and overseas participants, and a total of 6,206 postdoctoral projects.
