Asia Inclusive Business Hub (AIB Hub)

We endeavour to lead our young ones to embrace Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), and have devised a model of Inclusive Business practice for sustainable impact in Asia. 

The AIB Hub, which Lingnan leads, is a network of universities and academics trained and committed to localising and scaling up Inclusive Business practice in Asia through a series of capacity-building programmes. The hub is supported by the BoP Innovation Center (Bopinc), a non-profit organisation in the Netherlands that supports microentrepreneurs, NGOs, start-ups, SMEs and multinationals in creating commercially and socially viable business models and activities. 

In 2023, Lingnan and nine universities in the Philippines signed a Memorandum of Understanding for building a collaborative platform for academics, social innovators and small business owners to learn and apply the Inclusive Business (IB) framework, and to help small business owners develop innovative business solutions that improve livelihood and resilience. The platform will accelerate IB research, education and implementation in Asia, and generate novel case studies enriching the global IB community.
