Lingnan President and Vice-President attend QS Higher Education APAC Summit 2023 and receive QS Five Stars Plus certificate

On 7-9 November, Lingnan delegates headed by President S. Joe Qin and Vice-President Prof Joshua Mok Ka-ho attended the QS Higher Education APAC Summit 2023 in Kuala Lumpur.

 

During the three-day event attended by academics, senior government figures and business and industry representatives from all over the world, Prof Qin and Prof Mok delivered speeches, joined panel discussions addressing key topics in higher education and talent development, and also received the official certificate of QS Five Stars Plus rating, the highest accolade of the QS rating system.

The rating system assesses performance in at least seven categories, including research, teaching, innovation, inclusiveness, and environmental impact, and the results give prospective students an overview of a university’s strengths and priorities.

At the end of the event, QS announced that Lingnan has been selected as co-host of the QS Higher Education APAC Summit 2024, as well as the host for the post-events.
