Four Lingnan University undergraduates and two associate degree students from the Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE) have been recognised by HSBC with various scholarships this year. These students, who demonstrate excellent academic performance, active participation in community service, and dedication to exploring opportunities in the Greater Bay Area, are:

 

HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship

  • Arcay Angela Genie Baena (Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting), Year 4)

  • Lai Kei-kwan (Bachelor of Social Sciences - Psychology, Year 3)

  • Yeung Ching-yi (Bachelor of Arts in Animation and Digital Arts, Year 2)

 

HSBC Greater Bay Area (Hong Kong) Scholarship

  • Hau Wai-man (Bachelor of Arts in Chinese, Year 4)

 

HSBC Vocational Education Scholarship

  • Law Chung-yin (Associate of Social Sciences (Psychology), Year 2)

  • Syed Areeba (Associate of Business Studies (Business Management), Year 1)

 

Ms Irene Ng, Director of Student Affairs at Lingnan University, accompanied the scholarship recipients to attend the HSBC Scholars Day 2024 held at the HSBC Main Building on 10 July. These scholarships will support the recipients' studies and career development, and encourage them to unleash their full potential and contribute to society.
