The Department of Digital Arts and Creative Industries (DACI) at Lingnan University held a student exhibition titled "Life in Drawing" at the Leung Fong Oi Wan Art Gallery from 10 to 24 May. The showcase highlighted the unique creations of students from the Understanding Drawing course, which was taught by Ms Rainbow Leung, a Part-time Lecturer at DACI. Ms Leung expressed her hope that through this course, students would "step out of the classroom, experiencing art in sensational form.’’

In addition to artworks, each student also crafted a book about themselves that was showcased in the exhibition. These books explored a range of themes, such as personal growth, travel, music, religion, and university life. By combining written narratives and visual expressions, students embarked on a journey of self-exploration.

Furthermore, the students' sketches in Lam Tei, Tuen Mun were compiled into a book titled "Lam Tei Memories", which was then gifted to the local community as a keepsake. This allowed the students to not only show their talents but also engage with the community.
