LingnanU Elder Academy - Opening Ceremony cum Course Briefing of “Enriched ICT Training Programme for the Elderly (2024-2026) - The Enjoyable Journey of Gerontechnology”

Subsidised by Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, LingnanU Elder Academy (LUEA) launches “Enriched ICT Training Programme for the Elderly (2024-2026) - The Enjoyable Journey of Gerontechnology” (hereinafter referred to as the " Programme "). The opening ceremony cum course briefing of the Programme was successfully held on 28 May 2024. Around 80 elderly persons attended the opening ceremony including the representatives of the supporting organisations, where LUEA introduced the course content and encouraged elderly persons to enroll in the Programme.

LUEA has always been committed to promoting lifelong learning for the elderly and providing them with a variety of courses as well as encouraging them to maintain close ties with community and the younger generation so as to foster inter-generational harmony.

The Programme provides free advanced digital training courses for the elderly aged 60 or above who have a basic knowledge of digital technology and is supported by Yan Oi Tong, The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council and Action Care.
