“Once Upon a Time in HKDSE” screening activity

LIFE organized the “Once Upon a Time in HKDSE” screening activity on 8 July. The film showcases the true experiences of two DSE candidates, inviting everyone to look back on their own preparation process for public exams, their attitude when facing the results, and make reflection on the education system in Hong Kong.

The event not only provided a platform for enjoying the film but also facilitated deep interactions. After the screening, the film's director 梁奕豪 (贊師父), co-producer 文永昌 (文Sir), and producer 許賢, conducted a sharing and Q&A session. The three guests shared the origins and filming process of the movie and encouraged the students to affirm their efforts and not to be defined by their grades. They should adjust their mindset and see public exams as a starting point for striving forward. At the end of the event, teachers and students eagerly took photos with the guests as a memento.

We thank all students and teachers who participated in the event, as well as everyone involved in the production of “Once Upon a Time in HKDSE”. We hope this event inspires students to continue working hard in their future studies and life, to keep moving forward, and to “let the efforts be seen”.
