Lingnan Foundation’s visit reunites Lingnanians and cultivates exchange and progress
The Lingnan Foundation’s visit to Lingnan University in June 2024 was a pivotal event, aligning with the Foundation’s goal to enhance higher education in South China.
The visit was spearheaded by Dr Leighton Chan, Chair of the Lingnan Foundation Board of Trustees, and Dr Ding-Jo Currie, President of Lingnan Foundation. They, along with other delegates, participated in a series of activities organised by the University. These activities included presentation and discussion sessions with the senior management led by President S. Joe Qin to gain insights into Lingnan's recent advancements, as well as cultural excursions across Hong Kong.
On 11 June, the second day of their visit, the delegates had the opportunity to engage with students, faculty, and department heads to exchange ideas about their projects. They also listened to students share their experiences during morning sessions and over lunch.
This visit provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and exchange, furthering the relationship between Lingnan and the Foundation.
